A Christmas festival in a Lincolnshire town is set to have an ice rink for the first time this year. Bargate Green car park in Boston will be transformed into a winter wonderland with fairground rides for three days. The festival will launch on 29 November, with the ice rink open throughout the weekend.

Leeds city centre is set to host the return of the hugely popular festival market again this Christmas, after a “triumphant” debut year.

Christmas festival featuring a synthetic ice rink is to be held in Boston in the run-up to this year’s Yuletide period, the borough council has announced.

Market will officially be back this winter, bringing around 70 traditional stalls from local, national and international traders to two locations in the city centre.
