In addition, if the security deposit is mentioned in the lease, most probably all of the information that would have to be provided on the ordinance-mandated receipt would be contained in the lease.

Each deposit of checks and money should include a completed Cash Transmittal Form (Figure 1) and two adding machine tapes or check logs that reconcile the cash and checks with the receipt form.
