Lady Luck Casino shut its doors in June 1998 and many were disappointed to see the Dragon of Good Fortune leave, but it didn’t go far.

Though open for only a brief period in the '90s, Lady Luck Casino remains a cherished memory among Coastal Mississippi locals, primarily because of its colossal, fire-breathing dragon.

Lady Luck Casino’s $4 million dragon spectacle — called the Asian Dragon of Good Fortune — lit up the night sky in East Biloxi for more than four years in the mid-to-late 1990s.
