A brazen porch pirate in Ohio was recently caught on home surveillance video stealing a package right in front of a FedEx delivery driver, who had set the box down on a doorstep just seconds earlier.

To prevent porch piracy, have packages delivered to secure locations, install security cameras or utilize delivery lockers.

The package was delivered at 5:18 a.m. on Nov. 30, and at 5:20 a.m. the homeowner’s surveillance camera recorded video of the woman picking up the package and taking off.
