I got involved in discussion of g-forces this week in a completely different context, but having spent some time trying to sort it all out, I thought I'd devote this week's Football Physics post ...
Acceleration relative to gravity is quantified in “Gs”, a nomenclature most commonly used in aviation, and one that you’ve surely heard before. 1 G is the equivalent to the pressure applied ...
The acceleration is measured in "g's" where 1 g = 9.8 m/s 2. For the speed, it's measured in "MPS" which I am going to assume means meters per second (but I can check this).
The driver is still experiencing 1.14 g's of acceleration. T=1.30 sec. The current flowing out of the battery pack and into the two motors peaks at 1,850 amps. T=1.76 sec.
