The GPT-4.1 models support up to one million tokens. For reference, the o1 and o3-mini models in the API have a 200K context length, and GPT-4.5 and GPT-4o have a 128K context length.

According to a changelog posted by the company, GPT-4 will be fully replaced by GPT-4o, OpenAI’s new multimodal model. The company noted that GPT-4 will still remain available in the API.
