OBS Studio is getting some new features, including AI-powered virtual backgrounds from Nvidia broadcast that allow you to change your virtual environment without using a green screen.

OBS Studio 28.0 will also have Broadcast’s Noise and Echo Removal. This feature eliminates any and all “unwanted background noise” that can interfere with a live stream.

In its virtual event space, Rec Room hosted its third annual “Rec Con” in September, which attracted more than 400,000 users, in order to promote its upcoming Rec Room Studio app.
