Qatar is suspending its role as a mediator in talks between Israel and Hamas after concluding that the two sides are no longer negotiating in good faith, two sources familiar with the situation tell CNN.

The reported move comes after US officials were quoted saying they would not accept the group's presence in Qatar.

DOHA/CAIRO (Reuters) -Qatar will stop trying to mediate a Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal until Hamas and Israel are willing to resume talks, an official briefed on the matter said, while also casting doubt on the continued presence of Hamas' political office in Doha.
