A broken gas line in Hewitt Friday afternoon forced the evacuation of a day care center and had some parents retrieving their kids from Hewitt Elementary School early.

Today is the first design review, in a likely virtual presentation, for the possible redevelopment of the Shell station at 1013 N.E. 45th St. in the University District.
