Every year, the National Garden Bureau shines a spotlight on a select group of plants, and for 2024, the lily has been chosen as one of those deserving special recognition.

This isn't the first time the humble sego lily has played a role in local and national politics. The flower has been a crucial part of people’s lives along the Wasatch Front for hundreds of years.
