The temperature dividing line between rain and snow usually disappears off the North America weather maps in late June. It usually reappears sometime in late August or early September.

I see the rain/snow line showing up at the northern edge of the map next week. We meteorologists look for 32 degrees at 5,000 feet up as a gauge of the location of the rain/snow line.
