When the K Line opens to the public shortly after noon on Oct. 7, passengers can ride free on the entire Metro bus and rail system, including Metro Bike Share, for its opening weekend.
The K Line opens at noon Friday to passengers. Fare on the K Line, as well as across the Metro system, is free through Sunday to celebrate the new line.
The K Line will also “eventually” connect to the C (Green) Line at that rail line’s Aviation/LAX Station. Metro officials say they expect that to happen in 2024.
