The Panama Canal is one of the engineering marvels of the modern world, yet its course was diverted by a postage stamp showing a volcano. Otherwise, it might have been the Nicaragua Canal.

It’s about 120km west of Panama City, and about 30km north off Highway One, which is the PanAm. The town is essentially one main street with, on either side, some very nice homes.
