Pokemon Scarlet & Violet were given a day 1 patch for the Nintendo Switch 2, but the updated graphics don't fix a big problem.

The next mainline Pokémon game is probably a long way off, but we can still speculate on things it needs to include.

With only a couple exclusives so far, the Switch 2 has relied on upgraded versions of Switch games, and one has kept me up way too late many times.

Nostalgia, while powerful, isn't capable of holding on to fans forever, and it's something Pokémon may want to keep in mind for Gen 10.
