Now the company behind Post-it, 3M, is hoping to port Post-it notes to the small screen, with a new mobile app that lets you capture, organize and share your notes from your iPhone or iPad.

Use the app to capture an image of the Post-it® Notes from your work session. Arrange, refine and organize the notes and ideas on your board anyway you see fit.

Fast forward a year and 3M is out with a Post-it Notes app of its own for iOS 8. With the free, universal iOS app, you can capture up to 50 Post-it Notes at a time.
