Kansas City artist Jadie Arnett's scarf-themed poster was selected as the city’s official World Cup welcome art, showcasing KC pride in every detail.

A 1936 poster, designed by Gert Sellheim, one of 58 pieces displayed in “Art Deco: Commercializing the Avant-Garde,” opening Sept. 28 at Poster House in Manhattan.

Jadie Arnett, a graphic designer and Columbia native, won FIFA World Cup's poster contest last month for Kansas City.
