Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs planning more store shutdowns in Washington, including four more in Pierce County. Closures tied to Rite Aid’s bankruptcy.

After the round of closures the county will have two remaining Rite Aid stores, in Bremerton and Bainbridge Island.

So far, the grocer has announced it has received prescription files from 83 Rite Aid stores in Pennsylvania.

The closure is part of Rite Aid's larger effort to close or sell its stores nationwide following its second bankruptcy filing in May.
