Almost the entire province of Saskatchewan (and Alberta) was at high or extreme risk of wildfires on May 4, according to the Canadian Wildland Fire Information System.

The latest map showing the perimeter of the Fort McMurray fire shows it has crossed the border into Saskatchewan, but is appears to be holding steady about 30 kilometres west of La Loche, Sask.
