HPD said an armed security officer patrolling River Oaks responded to a burglary-in-progress call. When the security guard found the suspect, he ran, and a chase ensued.
According to CPD’s incident report, the security officer is charged with assault. Currently, we aren’t naming him because there are no court documents to supplement the charge.
