WD-40 has many helpful uses, including as a way to quiet squeaky door hinges and other moving parts, but is it ok to spray WD-40 on noisy car engine belts?

I've had problems with my 2009 smart car transmission, body throttle and engine blown casket. I have put more money in the car than its cost me.I would of loved for it to not have any problems at all.
