Google Maps will comply with President Donald Trump's executive order to rename the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America. This change will only apply users in the United States.

For users of Google Maps in the United States, the body of water bound to the east by Florida, Cuba, and the Yucatan Peninsula, and to the west by Texas and Mexico, is now the Gulf of America.

The federal government, including the military, is changing the name on maps to "Gulf of America." Even Google suggested it would make the change.
