Christina Somerville, an aunt of a graduating student at the Arts and Technology Academy of Pontiac (ATAP), said the Tuesday ceremony became tense after a communal prayer.

Tuesday, Oakland County Sheriff's deputies responded to a fight at UWM Sports Complex, who hosted the graduation ceremony for ATAP (Arts and Technology School of Pontiac), at 6:40 p.m.

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said two people were arrested in connection with plans for a mass shooting on June 3 during a charter high school graduation in Pontiac.

What began as a fist fight at a high school graduation in Michigan on Tuesday could have become a mass shooting, officials said.
