Deadline is reporting that Ulrich Thomsen (Counterpart, The Blacklist) has been cast as the iconic villain Sinestro in DC’s Green Lantern television series Lanterns, joining an already stacked cast.

Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Thaal Sinestro (played by Danish actor Ulrich Thomsen). If you know the DC lore or have seen the 2011 movie, Sinestro is one of the Green Lanterns who trained Hal Jordan.
