Mexico deploys additional troops to Tijuana to boost border security and curb fentanyl trafficking into the U.S.

Hundreds of Mexican soldiers were mobilized on Tuesday to the border with the United States as part of an agreement that halted U.S. tariffs on Mexican imports under the condition the Latin American country cracks down on fentanyl trafficking.

The move is part of a deal between Mexico and the U.S. that led President Trump to put a pause on tariffs on our neighbors to the south for the next 30 days.
