A string of eight interceptions in No. 2 Georgia’s last three games hasn’t endangered Carson Beck’s standing as the Bulldogs’ starting quarterback.

Carson Beck jumped into the stands wearing black eye paint smeared across his face and a wide smile. His three interceptions were a distant memory. All he cared about what celebrating another victory in the game he cherishes most.

Independent of this week's placement in the first CFP Rankings, Georgia can leave no doubt with the selection committee if it conquers this nationally ranked pair of opponents. Two wins would all but guarantee a playoff bid — and berth in the SEC Championship Game if Texas wins out or LSU loses once more — with an opportunity at potential legacy hardware coming in January should the streak continue.

Carson Beck has had his moments, and Head Coach Kirby Smart stands firmly behind him, but Beck threw three very untimely interceptions in Saturday’s win against an unranked Florida team, and almost cost Georgia the game.
