Penn State landed two wide receivers in the transfer portal last month: Kyron Hudson from USC and Devonte Ross from Troy. The Lions also have three wide receivers in their current recruiting class: Matthew Outten of Portsmouth, Va.; Lyrick Samuel of New York; and Koby Howard of Davie, Fla.

Junior wide receiver Omari Evans announced that he was entering the transfer portal. The news was broken by On3. A 6-foot, 188-pounder from Killeen, Tx., Evans caught 21 passes for 415 yards and five touchdowns for the Nittany Lions in 2024-25. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Penn State may be getting some key players coming back in 2024, but the Nittany Lions are going to have to replace one of its leading receivers. Omari Evans announced on social media his intent to enter the NCAA transfer portal, suggesting he is leaving Penn State behind in hopes of getting a little more out of his remaining eligibility.

Penn State football has officially lost both of their wide receivers as Harrison Wallace III enters the transfer portal. Wallace, a 6-foot-1, 198-pound receiver from Montgomery, Ala. and Pike Road High School, was second on the team with 46 receptions and 720 yards, along with four receiving touchdowns.
