EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Jacoby Brissett was on the bench late in the fourth quarter Thursday night, and Drake Maye was on the field. Brissett was over on the sideline, white towel draped over his head, while Maye was calling signals in the huddle, getting his first NFL experience.

On Thursday night, rookie quarterback Drake Maye made his NFL debut during garbage time, running out the clock while getting some enhanced preseason reps against a stout defense.
