Das expressed outrage over the alleged discovery of animal fat in ghee used to prepare ‘prasad’ (laddoos) of Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in AP’s Tirupati temple.

This announcement comes in the midst of a growing controversy over allegations of animal fat contamination in the famous Tirupati laddoos, prompting calls for an investigation.

In January, during the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, 300 kilograms of 'prasad' from the Tirupati temple was distributed to devotees, confirmed Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of the temple.

Tirupati laddus are embroiled in controversy after allegations of animal fats in their ghee emerged from the TDP government, supported by a lab report. Ayodhya temple’s chief priest demanded strict action and an investigation into the allegations.
