Colorado state lawmaker Jenny Willford has filed a lawsuit against Lyft and Shanu Transportation after she claims she was sexually assaulted.

Lyft records showed that her driver was supposed to be someone named Shanu. Instead, an unvetted driver who didn’t match the profile’s description showed up, according to the suit.

Colorado Representative Jenny Willford is among those thousands of victims. But she wants to be the last. "I don't wish my experience on anyone," Willford said during a press conference on Tuesday, January 14.
