Barter Theatre has received a grant from the Virginia Tourism Corporation’s Marketing Leverage Program for its new marketing strategies.

Tyler W. Lester, of Abingdon, Virginia, served as vice rector in 2024-25 and was reappointed to the board by Gov. Glenn Youngkin on June 20, according to a written statement.
