ICC Chief Commercial Officer, Anurag Dahiya said: "The return of the men’s ICC Champions Trophy with a brand-new women’s event has provided us with a great opportunity for a refreshed vibrant and fun visual identity to represent the events over the next few years.

As per the proposed schedule, Pakistan will be placed in Group A alongside India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B consists of England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan. The BCCI is awaiting consultations with the Indian government before confirming participation in matches hosted in Pakistan.

The ICC continued discussions on the Champions Trophy schedule with the participating nations amid speculation that the entire tournament could be moved out of Pakistan following India's refusal to travel to the country.

If PCB chooses to boycott the tournament, they shall reportedly lose out on acquiring the entirety of the hosting fees, amounting to $65 million, along with cuts to the funding they receive from the ICC.
