But according to Mopar Insiders, this third-gen Dodge Durango will stick around until 2028, making it 17 years old when it finally ends. Furthermore, it should keep the Hemi V8, too.

The Durango is, rather strangely, the last Hemi holdout — minus Ram’s Heavy Duty truck lineup, at least, where the 6.4-liter V-8 seems likely to endure until the sun goes dark.

If the rumour is confirmed, the 2026 Dodge Durango would be the last model to offer a V8 HEMI before a complete overhaul in 2027. For now, Stellantis has yet to officially confirm anything.
