Adult learning is a vital initiative that has the power to benefit most people in Wales, catering for a wide range of backgrounds, ages and capabilities across multiple subject areas.

"MADE in Wales" solutions to tackle problems in adult education took centre stage at a leading seminar event in Brussels this week.

Funding for adult community learning will be reduced by 37.5%, while budgets for part-time further education will be cut by 33%, NIACE said. Budgets for local authorities are also being reduced by 4%.
