Amazon has unveiled a new range of robots called Vulcan that have a tactile sense of touch similar to humans that could be used to replace warehouse workers.

Amazon has rolled out new robots, called Vulcan, which are able to "feel" with a human-like touch and can take over intricate tasks such as picking and packing from warehouse workers.

Amazon's director of applied science Aaron Parness described the technology as a fundamental leap forward in robotics.
