The New York Rangers are facing some backlash after unveiling their latest banner at Madison Square Garden celebrating their 2023-24 President’s Trophy.

On the "Spittin' Chiclets" podcast, former NHL player Ryan Whitney criticized the New York Rangers' new banner that reads "2023-24 Regular Season Champions.

The banner which used to have the date of the disaster and the number 96 on it, has been amended to include the word 'vindicated'.
