Logan Thompson made 32 saves, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Dylan Strome and Aliaksei Protas scored goals, and the Washington Capitals beat the Calgary Flames 3-1.

The Calgary Flames gave the NHL’s first place team a run for their money but ended up falling to the Washington Capitals 3-1.
