A "radically different" flat map of the Earth has been produced by scientists who say it is more accurate than any previous 2D models that came before.

Scientists have a new way to try to represent our spherical planet as a flat picture. It involves printing the map as a double-sided circle. Devised by scientists at Princeton and Drexel universities.
