Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green praises NBA referees after what they did against the Detroit Pistons.

If there’s one player who would respect Memphis Grizzlies rookie Zach Edey stepping up to a challenge, you’d think it would be Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green. In a 121-113 win, Green and Edey got into each other’s faces, leading to a technical foul. But that wasn’t the only time these two got into it.

For the game, they could be without Draymond Green, who is listed as questionable on the injury report. Green is averaging 8.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 42.

It also just got tougher for Dubs fans to have some peace of mind after learning what Green thinks of Golden State. The four-time champion said the team has "lost its soul and must find that joy and fun again," as told by Warriors big man Trayce Jackson-Davis following the Heat game (h/t Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN ).

The former NBA star believes Draymond Green isn't immune from being traded if the Golden State Warriors continue struggling.

Draymond Green is no stranger to altercation. Oftentimes he seems to live for it on the basketball court, and it has cost him a lot of money and games over the years in the form of suspensions. It might've cost the Warriors a championship in 2016.

Typically, referees would have called technical fouls, but this time, they let the situation settle on its own. This decision later earned them praise from the four-time NBA champion. "I thought the officials did a good job.

The Golden State Warriors are struggling to find their footing this season, and one former NBA champion believes it’s time for Draymond Green to move on from the team, much like Klay Thompson did when he departed for the Dallas Mavericks.
