Cars swept away by devastating floods in Spain's Girona following heavy rain. The city of Girona in Catalonia has bene hit with torrential rain causing streets to be flooded and cars to be swept away.

Cars can be seen been swept away and piled against a bridge. There were no immediate reports of casualties. The latest flooding comes after a devastating week for several areas of Spain, with more than 200 people killed in one of the worst floods in Europe this century.
