Once the text box is in the document, it's treated as an image — you can resize the box by clicking and holding on its corners, but the dimensions of the letters within may get warped.

Under new building regulations, letter boxes will have to be located at least 30 inches (760mm) and not more than 57 inches (1450mm) above the level where the postman stands outside the door.
