MUSKEGON, MI – A new neighborhood park could be developed on a portion of the former Nims School property that Muskegon Public Schools is considering donating to the city of Muskegon.

The human occupation of the Muskegon area goes back 7,000 or 8,000 years to the nomadic Paleo-Indian hunters who occupied this area following the retreat of the Wisconsinian glacialization.
