An operation against the Norteño street gang in Stockton has resulted in the arrest of 50 people, authorities announced on Tuesday.

A Salinas man was sentenced to 15 years in prison Thursday in connection with Norteno gang violence and racketeering after committing a series of armed robberies.

Twenty-nine suspected San Jose gang members have been indicted for a three-year burglary spree at hundreds of homes in three Bay Area counties, Santa Clara County prosecutors said.

CANYON COUNTY — Five members of the Norteño gang face charges related to gang, firearm and drug offenses, according to the Canyon County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
