If the name is Blink-182, it’s 182 blinks. At first, Blink-182 was just called Blink, but there was already a band named Blink, so they threw in the number 182 and the rest is blinkstory.

They agreed to change it and chose a random number, 182, to add to their name. Blink-182 was born. Drummer Raynor left the band in 1998 and they picked up Travis Barker to replace him.
