So far, there have been no reported illnesses, but health officials advise those with a peanut allergy to not eat these products and discard them.

The Food and Drug Administration announced July 8 a voluntary recall issued by Mondelēz Global for four carton sizes of Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker sandwiches.

“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts may risk serious or life-threatening allergic reactions by consuming this product,” the FDA stated.
