Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron said Monday that he's leaving the band after nearly 30 years. The 62-year-old Cameron announced his departure in a social media post.

Drummer Matt Cameron has left Pearl Jam after 27 years. He is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, also being inducted with Soundgarden this year.

Now, legendary grunge band Pearl Jam has lost a drummer as well, as it has been announced Matt Cameron has left the band.

After 27 years, drummer Matt Cameron will no longer jam with Pearl Jam Whispering hands have gently led him away.
