The Mitchells Plain Magistrates Court has heard how the former teacher initiated conversations with the Grade 7 pupil on social media platforms TikTok and WhatsApp.

The 35-year-old woman, who cannot be named due to the nature of the case, is accused of sending an explicit video and messages to a 13-year-old primary school learner in May.
