RACINE COUNTY — The Racine County Sheriff’s Office has announced that it will begin phasing out the traditional brown and tan uniforms that have long been standard apparel for deputies.

The uniforms worn by members of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department are changing, according to Sheriff Boyd Hicks. The new uniforms will consist of a white or black shirt and jeans or khaki pants.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office recently was honored as one of 12 best-dressed law enforcement agencies in the country by a national uniform trade group.
