Bianca Belair accidentally whips Naomi with her braid en route to a new number one contender being crowned on SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown highlighted the young title reign of Tiffany Stratton and gave the San Diego crowd a notable Rey Mysterio match.

For the first time (which is incredible), Kevin Owens battled Rey Mysterio in a singles match. These two didn't go warp speed, but they made it count. Owens and Mysterio put on a show, with Owens picking up the win with a Powerbomb after he "inadvertently" knocked the official into the ropes and sent Mysterio off the top rope.

Tiffany Stratton was already a fan favorite in the WWE community prior to this week. On Friday night though, she officially became a champion. Stratton finally cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on "Smackdown" this Friday to become WWE women's champion.

Also set for tonight, new WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will appear. Stratton will address her betrayal of Nia Jax from last week when she finally cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase to become champion. The cash-in happened after Stratton helped Jax defeat Naomi in last week’s main event.

Tiffany Stratton defeated Bayley in the main event on Friday Night SmackDown to successfully defend her WWE Women's Championship.
