Despite Clark's return against the Valkyries, the team ended up losing by a final score of 80-61. In the loss, Clark did not play well. She scored 10 points on 4-for-12 shooting to go along with six assists, five rebounds, and four turnovers. Those numbers did not live up to the hype of her return.

Clark returned to the court for the Fever after missing several games due to a groin injury — her second injury of the season so far. The Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever are joined at the hip. So are their two biggest stars: point guards Tyrese Haliburton and Caitlin Clark. That isn't changing anytime soon, if ever.
