HBO's Harry Potter series has cast another key character. Bertie Carvel has been tapped to play Cornelius Fudge in the high-profile TV adaptation.

“We appreciate that such a high-profile series will draw a lot of rumor and speculation,” An HBO representative said in a statement addressing if Carvel will play Cornelius Fudge.
